40km (Olympic DISTANCE) / 16KM (sUPER SPRINT DISTANCE)

5 Laps for the Olympic distance triathletes and 2 laps for Super Sprint triathletes. A flat to undulating safe cycle through Europe’s “largest park in the City”. The scenery will inspire you.

Entering the park through the Island Bridge Gate the route winds up the legendary Kyber Pass to the main park road, Chesterfield Avenue. You will cycle past the junction onto Furze Road on the right on hand side before turning 180 degrees to travel back towards Furze Road. Taking a right turn you cycle until the junction for the Ordinance Survey Road where you take a left onto a very smooth and fast surface. The course loops round the back of the playing fields and up past the historic Magazine Fort until you take a final left to complete the circuit.

Olympic Distance Athletes complete 5 laps exiting the park at the Chapelizod Gate on the fifth lap. Super Sprint Distance Athletes will exit the park on their second lap.
